The Réseau Africain pour le Maintien de la Paix (RAMP-BENIN) is a youth-led non-profit organization founded in 2019 and based in Benin, which works to promote peace, prevent conflict, strengthen human security, and promote active citizenship in Benin and throughout the African region. Ramp-Benin works with women, youth, children, vulnerable groups, and marginalized communities through community-level peacebuilding, mediation, humanitarian action, civic engagement, and volunteer-led initiatives. Its work is supported by a national network of peace and security volunteers and peace-themed clubs, combining action research, capacity building, advocacy, and digital tools to build inclusive and resilient communities. Active within national, regional, and international networks for peace and security, RAMP-BENIN positions itself as a dynamic platform that promotes African-led peacebuilding under the leadership of young people.
