We are very pleased to share with you the CSPPS Berlin Statement: “Safeguarding Peace, Shifting Priorities”!

The CSPPS Berlin Statement was issued in the context of the 2022 CSPPS Annual Conference which took place on 17 and 18 May 2022 in Berlin (Germany).

Prepared and finalised both on the basis of a consultation with our membership prior to the conference in Berlin and in the margins of a CSPPS Membership Delegation discussion in Berlin, CSPPS Berlin Statement illustrates CSPPS members’ priorities when it comes to peacebuilding in 2022.  

The Berlin Statement is issued to share our reflections on recent tectonic geopolitical developments and how these impact the work done on conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

The statement includes a set of critical recommendations that we hope to follow-up on in dialogue with our partners. We do hope to receive your feedback on the statement as issued and look forward to a dialogue on the issues raised.
