Civil Society Spotlight Report on SDG16 - Republic of South Sudan
With the support of the Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (CSPPS), the Just Future Alliance (JF), Cordaid, Oxfam International and Women International Peace Centre (WIPC), the organisation Vision for Generation Organization (V4G) and other members of the CSPPS country team in South Sudan developed a ‘Civil Society Spotlight Report on SDG16 in the Republic of South Sudan’ with the aim of:
- Strengthening the link and coordination between the relevant line ministries, development partners and civil society organisations
- Creating public awareness on the Voluntary National Review Process and the importance of public participation in the process
- Empowering community members, civil society, academia and government officials at national and sub-national levels for meaningful participation in the VNR process
- Producing a spotlight report to provide an alternative and credible perspective on South Sudan’s progress towards achieving the SDG16 and provide actionable recommendations.
