Act Now for SDG16+: Peace, Justice, Inclusion and Strong Institutions in a Pandemic – a renewed call to action
In July 2020, the global SDG 16+ Community - a group of member states, civil society organizations, international organizations, and global partnerships working to implement SDG16+ and the 2030 Agenda’s goals on peace, justice and inclusion - came together and issued a joint call to action demanding the the international community and leaders everywhere to increase global support of peace, justice, inclusion and strong institutions in the midst of the pandemic.
Several months later, this call has loudly resonated resulting in over 100 organizations across 42 countries endorsing this call for accelerated action, investment and resources to make peace, justice, and inclusion the foundation for reset and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. As a global and diverse group we have come together in solidarity to offer a platform for building more peaceful, just and inclusive societies for all. Please join our renewed call to action
